Paul & Grace Bauer (left) pictured on their 50th wedding anniversary(married 2 June 1940): Paul was a businessman, humorist and community leader. Grace was a teacher, historian and mathematician. Most of all, to us, they are guiding lights throughout our lives. They were full of love and life; their pace was definitely positive. Although Maren, Paulette, and Erin developed the Positive Pace concept and the web site, its deeper connections lie in a wonderful couple no longer with us on this earth. Paul and Grace Bauer (Paulette's parents), both wonderful, peace-oriented individuals, provided a general inspiration and financial backing to this organization. We would not be moving quickly forward without their contributions and inspirations.

Paulette Middleton-Renne (center) has 32-years experience leading air quality and related assessment programs that inform decisions at individual, corporate and government levels.  Over the years, Paulette also has served as an expert consultant, reviewer and witness and has helped a wide variety of public and private clients improve environmental quality locally and worldwide.  She received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas in 1973. In 2002, Paulette created Panorama Pathways, dedicated to creating stepping stones to word peace.

Maren and Erin (left) are Paulette's daughters and her co-creators in the development of Positive Pace. Maren graduated from the University of Colorado in May 2004 with honors in Communication and also with a Political Science degree.  She has been in business as an independent contractor for over three years doing various freelance projects involving picture/memory projects and fun web design. View MKM Enterprises. 

Erin graduated from college at the University of California Santa Cruz. She is now in France teaching English to french students. Erin is always up for a positive project.
